Ambula (Ambula Technologies Private Limited) is a HealthTech startup revolutionizing healthcare access through the implementation of the UHI (Unified Health Interface), also known as the ‘Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.’

We are seeking a Full-time Java Developer to join our team.

Location: Bhubaneswar

CTC: 3.6 LPA to 4.8 LPA

Initial Internship of 3 months: ₹6000 – ₹10,000 / month stipend

Responsibilities 

• Design and develop highly scalable microservices using Java and related technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement security protocols and measures using Spring Security.
• Deploy applications on AWS cloud infrastructure using Docker containers.
• Use Git for version control, code reviews, and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.                                               

       Desired skills

• • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL DB, and REST API development.
  • Working knowledge of AWS and Docker.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  Preferred skills

  • Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery.
  • Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
  • Familiar with Java 11.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, React.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
